Glacier National Park is located in West Glacier, Montana. The vast park is a popular tourist attraction due to its abundant nature, including lakes, mountains, forests and meadows. It is a great place to engage in recreational activities, as there are over 700 miles of trails for hiking. Camping, bicycling and swimming are also common recreational activities at Glacier National Park. There are many hotels located near the park.
Lake McDonald Lodge
The Lake McDonald Lodge is a lakeside accommodation that was constructed between 1913 and 1914. There are one hundred rooms, all spread out between cottages, the main lodge and a motor inn. The lodge consists of a restaurant, pizzeria, souvenir shop, camping store and lounge. It is a non-smoking hotel with a rustic atmosphere. The guest rooms are all en suite and come with either twin or double beds.

Belton Chalets and Lodge
The Belton Chalets and Lodge has the authentic, nostalgic ambiance of a railroad accommodation from the turn of the twentieth century. The guest rooms are traditional, small, and have an old-fashioned flair. The hotel staff is hospitable and very helpful. The majority of the guest rooms at the lodge come with private terraces with views of the foothills that lead to the Glacier National Park. The lodge has a bar and a restaurant.

Glacier Wilderness Resort
The Glacier Wilderness resort is a highly private accommodation that is close to the Glacier National Park. The lodges are all detached from the others, and all have homey, serene vibes. There are two-bedroom accommodations for families available. The hotel consists of a recreation center (complete with pool tables, video games and foosball) and and indoor heated swimming pool. The guest rooms all have hot tubs located on the front porches, and standard comforts such as television with VCR.

Village Inn
The Village Inn is a small hotel located within the Glacier National Park. It is in close proximity to boat docks, cafes and convenience stores. The atmosphere of the hotel is charming and modest. There are no dining establishments located on the lodge property, but there are many restaurants a mere short walk away. There are thirty-six guest rooms available at the Village Inn, including double rooms and suites.

Vista Motel
The Vista Motel has a hilltop location right by the western entry point to the Glacier National Park. One of the main advantages to staying at this small budget hotel is the fact that it offers terrific views of the surrounding mountains. The twenty-seven guest rooms are sparsely decorated and on the minimalistic side, but are very clean, comfortable and bright. There is a heated outdoor swimming pool at the hotel.
