Five-Star Hotels Near College Station Airport
The regional Easterwood Airport serves College Station, Texas, and surrounding communities. Its traffic is minor compared to that of major airports like
Houston's George Bush Intercontinental. In 2008, 75,494 travelers flew into Easterwood. Fliers who come to the area to visit Texas A&M University, Northgate and other attractions can choose among several five-star hotels near the airport.
Plaza Hotel and Suites
The Plaza Hotel and Suites stands at 17 stories, towering above other buildings in downtown College Station. The hotel's 300 rooms start at $90 a night. It has king-size suites, apartments and a penthouse with a spectacular view of downtown. Taking a dip in the indoor pool is a good way to get out of the hot Texas sun. Remington's restaurant, in the lobby, specializes in steaks, burgers and desserts.
