Greenville's Holiday Inn provides rest.
Greenville, South Carolina, sits at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains and among historic sites such as plantations. The Holiday Inn Express location off Interstate 85 in the northwest part of the state makes it a convenient place to plan your sightseeing.
Rooms
This Holiday Inn Express location has 155 rooms -- 100 of which are suites -- with nonsmoking options available. Pets in general are not allowed, but service animals are welcome.
Amenities
Rooms come with turndown service and free high-speed wireless Internet access. Some suites offer whirlpools, microwaves, mini-refrigerators and sofa beds. Some rooms also provide glasses and plates for dining.
Hotel Services
The Holiday Inn provides concierge and courier services, dry cleaning and laundry pick-up; and guests may use the fitness center, indoor pool and guest laundry area. A business center provides email and Internet connections as well as printing and copy services. Meeting rooms can accommodate up to 200 people.
Dining
The hotel does not offer a restaurant on site, but it provides a complimentary hot breakfast with such items as biscuits and gravy, sausage, bacon and cinnamon rolls each morning. Dining options within two miles include an Italian grill, a Chinese restaurant and several sit-down chain restaurants.
Attractions
The Holiday Inn is next to the Greenville Mall Shopping Center, three miles from downtown Greenville and seven miles from the Amtrak station. Free shuttles take guests to and from the station or to points within two miles of the hotel.
