In the hotel industry, achieving a five-star rating is as close to perfection as possible. There are many hotels near Disneyland in California that come close to perfection. Each of these hotels offer beautiful rooms, suites and spa services. They offer elegant dining facilities, pools and concierge services. Although each hotel has different amenities available to its guests, they all provide excellent services to those who choose to spend time there.
The Island Hotel Newport Beach, 4.8 Stars
The Island Hotel , located at 690 Newport Center Drive in Newport beach, has over 350 room and suites available. It is less than 14 miles from Disneyland. Furnished patios or balconies are available with each room. The spa offers many services such as Island Volcanic Detoxifying Therapy, the Hawaiian massage known as Lomi Lomi, and several different types of facials, manicures and pedicures as well as body waxing services. Concierge services are available to guests wanting help with planning activities during their visit.
Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa, 4.8 Stars
The Langham Huntington Hotel (formerly the Ritz Carlton Hotel) is located at 1401 South Oak Knoll Avenue in Pasadena. It is less than 25 miles from Disneyland. There are over 375 rooms, lanai rooms, cottages and suites available for guests to enjoy. The spa has 16 treatment rooms and a fully equipped fitness center, including a sauna and steam room. A Sunday champagne brunch is available. The hotel also offers an outdoor pool, high-speed Internet service and meeting and banquet rooms.
Disney's Grand Californian, 4.7 Stars
The Disney's Grand Californian at 1600 South Disneyland Drive is within walking distance of Disneyland and the Downtown Disney District. This non-smoking hotel and spa offers high-speed Internet service, in-room safes and 24-hour room service. A continental breakfast and evening wine and cheese reception are also available. "Pinocchio's Workshop" is available for children ages 5 to 12. A licensed supervisor will watch your children, offering them various forms of entertainment such as arts and crafts and computer games as well as dinner and snacks.
Candy Cane Inn, 4.5 Stars
The Candy Cane Inn, at 1747 South Harbor Blvd. in Anaheim, offers 171 guest rooms. It is less than half a mile away from Disneyland. Each of the guest rooms has a compact refrigerator, hair dryer and ironing board and iron. The hotel also offers a continental breakfast buffet and shuttle service to the Disneyland resort theme parks. There is heated outdoor pool as well as a children's wading pool and a spa.
