The dining area of The Embassy Suites New Orleans is the site of the nightly manager's reception and the daily made-to-order breakfast buffet.
New Orleans' Embassy Suites Hotel Convention Center offers convenience to the city's famed French Quarter, to the Riverwalk overlooking the Mississippi River and to dining, attractions and rows of art galleries. The property features an outdoor swimming pool and a large dining area with adjacent bar. Valet parking is managed in an on-site multi-level deck.
Wows and Woes
You won't need your car while staying in this part of New Orleans, as you're within easy walking distance of most attractions. However, the parking fee on your final bill will certainly reflect your car's stay.
Insider Tips
Take advantage of the many art galleries within the Warehouse Arts District surrounding the hotel, and check the local calendar for art walks. Back at the hotel in the evenings, take advantage of the nightly manager's reception.
Author's Most Memorable Moment
Walking from the Embassy Suites to the French Quarter is an easy, scenic stroll. We made our way along the Mississippi via the Riverwalk and over to the Aquarium of the Americas in just a matter of minutes.
Bottom Line
The property is a good fit for families (attractions within close proximity), business travelers (convention center is across the street) and couples (restaurants and bars are all around).
