Hilton Hawaiian Village Hotel Review

Lush Grounds on the Hilton Hawaiian Village
Lush Grounds on the Hilton Hawaiian Village
The Hilton Hawaiian Village beach resort & Spa is on the widest section of Waikiki Beach. The 22 acres house five towers, with a total of 2,800 rooms that meet all types of needs from family to luxury. Within the complex there is everything needed for a complete vacation on the lush grounds (there are penguins, flamingos and swans), with tons of activities, dining and shopping.
Wows and Woes

Wows: The Paradise Pool is 5,700 square feet and has a 77-foot slide. It is one of six pools on the property.
Woes: With all of the amenities at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort & Spa, there are a lot of families and conventions. Some areas can be crowded.

Insider Tips

Read more about each tower to decide which one best fits the vacation desired. The Ali'I Tower, for example, is the most luxurious. It probably isn't the place to bring children. Also, keep in mind that even though everything you need is available at the Hilton Hawaiian Village, it is not included. Look for special packages that include such extras as breakfast and luaus.

Sunset at Waikiki Beach
Sunset at Waikiki Beach

I stayed at the Ali'l Tower in a corner room and it was truly an incredible experience watching the nightly Torch Lighting Ceremony or the fireworks from the Rainbow Revue shows during the sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.

Bottom Line

The resort atmosphere with constant activities and choice of more than 20 dining options (including the award-winning Bali by the Sea) separates the Hilton Hawaiian Village from other Waikiki Beach hotels.
