Hanover features multiple tourist attractions for visitors to southeastern Pennsylvania looking for alternatives to the crowds at Gettysburg National Park. This small borough offers special events, abundant green spaces and entertainment venues for all ages.
Codorus State Park
The centerpiece of Codorus State Park in Hanover is the 26 miles of beach along Lake Marburg. The park is popular among naturalists interested in observing Pennsylvania's native species.
Eichelberger Performing Arts Center
The Eichelberger Performing Arts Center is the major entertainment venue in Hanover with country music concerts, comedy shows and stage productions held throughout the year.
Hanover Farmers' Market
The Hanover Farmers' Market takes place each Saturday morning in the borough's Market House. The market started in 1815 and offers meat and vegetables from local providers.
Utz Quality Food Tours
Utz Quality Food started producing potato chips and snacks in its Hanover facility in 1921. The company offers tours of its 600,000-square-foot facility several days a week.
North Hanover Mall
North Hanover Mall attracts visitors from Hanover and surrounding communities to anchor stores like Dick's Sports and Sears. The mall hosts events like autograph sessions and model airplane displays throughout the year.
