Yuma offers a wide variety of golf courses
Yuma is a city in southwestern Arizona that is a largely seasonal destination. The city is home to numerous points of interest, including the Yuma Territorial Prison State Park and the Cocopah Indian Museum. Yuma is also a great destination for golfing, and has been named the "7th best city in the
United States for golf" by "Golf Magazine," according to the Yuma Convention & Visitors Bureau. The city offers over 10 courses, satisfying every player.
Cocopah RV and Golf Resort
The Cocopah RV and Golf resort combines a public 18-hole golf course with an over 800-stall RV resort. The course opened in 1988 and is a par 72 that is spread over 5,705 yards. The course has a slope of 112 and a rating of 68.0.
The resort also features a full pro shop, a 30-tee driving range, two putting greens and an on-site restaurant. Lessons are available and taught by PGA professionals. Tournaments are held monthly, excluding the month of October, when the course is closed for maintenance.

Mesa Del Sol Golf Club
The Mesa Del Sol Golf Club is a public 18-hole course designed by Arnold Palmer. It is a par 72, spread over 6,767 yards. In addition to the course, the club also has a pro shop and sit-down snack bar.
The course has become a part of the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary Program, run by the Audubon Society, in order to devise a way to maintain the environmental quality of the course. Tournaments are available and tee times may be booked online.

Las Barrancas Golf Course, Foothills Golf Course
The Las Barrancas Golf Course is a public 18-hole course that opened in 2005. The course is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings. It is the only course in Yuma that offers GPS in its golf carts.
In addition to Las Barrancas, two off-site 9-hole executive golf courses are available. Known as the Foothills Golf Course and the Foothills Par 3, both courses offer PGA instruction and are open daily in the morning. All three courses are within one mile of each other and are run by the same company.
