The Impression 5 Science Center, located 200 Museum Drive, is a great place to go with the entire family. The museum is focused on teaching people all about science, whether it is about the human body or about the world around us. For instance, it has the HeartWorks exhibit where you can walk right through a giant heart. You can learn about light and color, music, chemistry and more at this science museum. Kids will love learning about science in this hands-on environment.
Take a Look at the Past at the Meridian Historical Village
The Meridian Historical Village is a real blast from the past. When you visit this old-time village, you will get to see how things were back in the nineteenth century. Tour through houses and barns to see how architecture and furnishings differed in the past. Your guided tour will show you how life has changed over the years for people living in Lansing, Michigan. The Perkins-Copland Log Cabin shows what life was like for lower class individuals, while the Grettenberger Farmhouse is a good example of high class society.
Smell the Flowers at Cooley Gardens
Sometimes a quiet stroll amidst nature is a good way to relax while on vacation. Luckily, the Cooley Gardens, located in the heart of Lansing, Michigan, is free to visit.
