Fun Things to Do in Canton, Ohio

If you are visiting Canton, Ohio, you are at the birthplace of professional football. The decision to organize teams into a professional organization was made at an automobile dealership in Canton and the Pro Football Hall of Fame is now the centerpiece of the town. But, there is more than football to Canton, including the Canton Classic Car Museum and the William McKinley Museum and Library.
Pro Football Hall of Fame

The most famous aspect of the Pro Football Hall of Fame is the hall of honor, where the Hall of Famers' likenesses are cast in bronze also with a plaque bearing information about each Hall of Famer's career. Jim Brown, John Unitas, Joe Namath, Bart Starr and Joe Montana are just a few of the greats who have been enshrined.

Canton Classic Car Museum

If you love old cars, this is the place for you. Classic cars like the '22 Holmes coupe, a 1926 Dodge and a 1963 Amphicar are among the 35 cars on display. In addition to the cars, there's also a classic collection of toys from the early 20th century on display.

William McKinley Museum and Library

The library of president William McKinley is in Canton. A historian find artifacts from the McKinley administration. And there is also a science museum and a discovery center for children.
