So whether something international is making your taste buds dance or your palette is craving cuisine a little more homegrown, Sacramento has it. These fun restaurants ensure a good time and stick out from the many others that speckle this city's bustling streets.
Rascal's Pub and Grill
This burger joint is a Sacramento City hot spot where the business is always cooking, literally. Many locals refer to Rascal's Pub and Grill as the place with the "best burgers in town," and as a result, the 150 seats inside are often full. Don't let a wait deter you, though. The bar has a fun, casual, and laid-back ambiance. It has been converted from a 1930s winery into a place with a Cheers-like atmosphere both inside and on the outside patio.

Moxie
If the name doesn't scream "fun" for this restaurant, then perhaps your experience there will. Many locals eat here on a regular basis and are quick to call it one of Sacramento's best. The menu is diverse and includes dishes such as lamb with chocolate mint sauce and succulent steaks with gorgonzola cheese sprinkled atop with a heavy hand. Its vibe is chic: ultra-cool with a hint of romantic.
