Centennial Olympic Park
The Centennial Olympic Park is home of the 1996 Olympic games. After the Olympics, the city of Atlanta used the newly developed land to create a 21-acre community park. While visitors can visit and learn about the history of Centennial Olympic Park and the 1996 Olympics, many different attractions have been added including an ice skating rink and stages for music and cultural events.

Georgia Aquarium
Divided into five major sections, the Georgia Aquarium houses a wide variety of different ocean and river creatures. Visitors can head to Cold Water Quest to see beluga whales, giant octopus' and weedy sea dragons. The River Scout section is devoted to animals found throughout the world and even right in Georgia. The American alligators and the small-clawed otters are among the most popular exhibits in this section. With an underwater shark tank tunnel and different hands on exhibits and touch pools, children and parents will find something for everyone at the Georgia Aquarium.

Imagine It! Children's Museum of Atlanta
The Children's Museum of Atlanta is a hands-on adventure designed for children eight years of age and under. The museum allows children to learn through experiences as they learn about the process that food goes through to make it to the dinner table, solve puzzles with pulleys and levers and experience the inside of a rain forest as they learn about different animals and plants.

Stone Mountain Park
Stone Mountain Park is unlike any other amusement park in the world, with dozens of interactive activities and games for children of all ages. Zoo Atlanta allows families to experience hundreds of different species of birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians.
