Selecting a honeymoon destination is important since it will most often be the first thing you will do together as a married couple. The honeymoon is a place where you can enjoy each other and the wedding ceremony that you had earlier. When brainstorming about where to vacation, keep in mind what you and your partner like to do and try to pick a destination that will fit both of your needs.
Scottsdale, AZ
Scottsdale is a beautiful city that is often overlooked when thinking of vacation destinations. It has multiple five-star resorts and spas that will allow you and your partner to relax if your idea of fun is getting pampered. The city also offers upscale events to attend, such as Arabian horse shows, Barrett Jackson Auto Shows, and antique auctions. It also has some of the country's finest golf courses.
San Diego, CA
If you are looking for a tropical destination but don't want to fly all the way to Hawaii, San Diego is the perfect place to honeymoon. Hotel Del Coronado is one of the most famous hotels in the area and has hosted celebrities and past presidents while they were enjoying Coronado beach. After visiting Sea World you can enjoy surfing, sailing, hiking, or even skiing. Since Los Angeles is not far away, you can also travel there for some sightseeing.
Las Vegas, NV
Excitement can be found in Las Vegas, Nevada. The city has many glamorous hotels, such as Cesar's Palace or MGM Grand, and upscale clubs like Prive to visit when you and your partner are tired of gambling but aren't ready to call it a night. There are many attractions and shows going on in Vegas all the time, including concerts, comedy shows, and theater performances.

If you are both a connoisseur of fine wines, San Francisco is a great honeymoon destination. Consider booking a bed and breakfast while you stay and get a taste of the city's local charm. This is a relaxing way to honeymoon and can include wine tastings and visiting the Napa Valley Vineyards, which will make your experience all the more memorable. If you get tired of wine tasting you can also visit Fisherman's Wharf or Union Square while exploring the tourist attractions of the city.
Grand Canyon
Hiking, mule rides, and white water rafting are all things you can enjoy on your honeymoon while at the Grand Canyon. The two of you can also take to the skies and enjoy the view if you'd like by chartering a helicopter ride. If you are taking your honeymoon in winter, you can also go skiing at the Snow Bowl. You both should also plan to see The Skywalk and visit the Hualapai Tribe while you are there.
