Henderson Beach State Park

Henderson Beach State Park offers swimming, fishing, hiking and camping along 6,000 feet of beachfront property. Play areas are available for children. Those who opt to camp in the park can take advantage of the electrical hookups and climate controlled bathhouses. The park is handicap accessible and it offers beach appropriate wheelchairs on a first come, first served basis.

Gator Beach is a free attraction that is open year round. Parents with school-age children can use this attraction as a chance to teach children about alligators, including gator safety. Exhibits at Gator Beach educate visitors on the differences between alligators and crocodiles. You can feed the gators and have your picture taken with one.

Big Kahuna's

Big Kahuna's is a family oriented water park. This Destin attraction offers a lazy river, a wave pool, a kiddie play area and water slides. Safety is a top concern of this water park, therefore, all flotation devices must be U.S. Coast Guard approved. That means no inflatable rings or bathing suits with built in flotation devices. Additionally, children are not allowed to ride attractions on an adult's lap.

Air Force Armament Museum

Emerald Bay Golf Course and resort features a world acclaimed golf course. Be sure to reserve your tee time in advance. The Emerald Bay website accepts reservations for tee times up to 28 days in advance of the tee date. The price of the round of golf includes usage of the driving range before and after your tee time. Use of the driving range can be had at an hourly rate.
