Fun Date Ideas in Provo, Utah
If you're looking for something fun and exciting do to on a date in Provo, Utah, you've come to the right place. The activities found here vary in cost and theme, so you're sure to find one that's right for you.
Rock Climbing
Indoor rock climbing is a great date activity for athletic couples. You're sure to have fun while showing off your skills, and you'll leave with a sense of accomplishment. It's definitely more exciting than a traditional dinner and a movie date! Couples should check out the Quarry at 2494 N. University Parkway in Provo.
Progressive Dinner
Get together with a group of other couples and plan a progressive dinner. You can plan a traditional progressive dinner in which each course of the meal is served at another person's house, or you can make it more of a potluck and assign different people to bring dishes to just one house. Make your progressive dinner even more fun by deciding on a theme.
Planetarium
Take your date to a show at the BYU Planetarium, located in the Eyring Science Center on the BYU campus. Though the planetarium is primarily used for holding classes at the university, it offers weekend shows for the general public. Planetarium shows start promptly at 7 and 8 o'clock in the evening. Visitors should arrive early to purchase tickets and ensure good seats.
Ultimate Frisbee
Gather some friends for an exciting game of Ultimate Frisbee at a local park. Ultimate Frisbee is a great group date game that can be played both indoors and outdoors. While outdoor Ultimate Frisbee is ideal, if the weather refuses to cooperate, it can be played indoors on a basketball court.

If you feel like venturing out of Provo just a bit, you may want to try a romantic horse-drawn carriage ride at Temple Square in nearby Salt Lake City. While you're at Temple Square, you can stop by the visitor's center to view its fun and educational exhibits.
