Kansas City, Missouri offers guests a wide variety of attractions. While staying in the area, you can head out for a day of family adventure at Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun. Aixois French Bistro
Aixois French Bistro is located in the Crestwood shopping area. The restaurant offers an intimate and casual atmosphere, with outdoor dining available on warm, clear days. Dine on popular French dishes, such as grilled frog legs, grilled duck with shitake mushrooms, lamb with shitake mushrooms and veal scaloppini with lemon juice, capers and shallots. A children's menu is available. Complement your meal with a selection of white wine, red wine, beer or champagne. Finish off your meal with an item from the dessert menu, such as crème brulee, ice cream or chocolate mousse. Aixois French Bistro is open for lunch and dinner Monday through Saturday. There is also an on-site coffee bar open daily as of January 2010.

Pierpont's at Union Station
Pierpont's serves a variety of French dishes, as well as steak and seafood entrees, in an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere. Popular entrees include Muscovy duck breast, monkfish bouillabaisse and filet Oscar. A children's menu is available for guests 12 years old and younger. While dining, you can enjoy a glass of your favorite red wine, white wine or champagne, all of which may be purchased by the glass, bottle or half bottle. Top off your dinner with flourless chocolate torte or crème brulee. Pierpont's is open for dinner seven days a week and for lunch Tuesday through Friday, as of January 2010.

Avenues Bistro--Brookside
Avenues Bistro specializes in French dishes, as well as an array of other European traditional cuisine. Guests will enjoy a sophisticated atmosphere while dining on popular French dishes, such as filet mignon bearnaise, steak frites and coquilles St. Jaques. Pair your meal with a glass of wine from the restaurant's extensive wine list. Avenues Bistro is open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Sundays from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., as of January 2010.
