Freeport Fish & Seafood Restaurants
The town of Freeport is said to be the birthplace of Maine. Whether this tavern-generated tidbit is true remains to be seen. Freeport is a quaint coastal town in Maine with outlet stores, locally owned boutiques and bed and breakfast lodging. The location of Freeport is ideal for serving up fresh seafood. Don't miss spoiling yourself with fresh lobster while in Maine. If you have had lobster anywhere else, you really haven't had good lobster.
Morrisons Chowder House
Morrison's Chowder House is nothing much to look at, but no matter---the food is center stage. Morrison's boasts the best chowder and lobster rolls in Maine. The chowder is so good, there is a version of it sold in the grocery chain Whole Foods. The lobster roll is the real standout as it is a more than ample portion of real fresh lobster meat hanging over the sides of the roll. The lobster roll is served with mayo on the side so the natural taste of the lobster can shine through.
