The Four Seasons, New York
The Four Seasons is a high-end, historic hotel located in the heart of Manhattan's midtown area, on 57th Street and Fifth Avenue. Whether you're in
New York for business, are touring the city, or have a special event you want to splurge for, the Four Seasons New York is the perfect place to kick up your feet and enjoy the good life.
Wows and Woes
The Four Seasons is adorned with spectacular architecture, a delicious in-house restaurant, L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon, and three lounges. You won't even have to leave the hotel to go star-searching. Many celebrities who stay in New York will stay and dine at the Four Seasons.
If you're looking for a casual place to walk around in jeans and a t-shirt, the Four Seasons is not the hotel for you. A jacket is required at L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon and most guests are dressed to the nines throughout their stay.
Insider Tips
The Four Seasons is within walking distance to most popular New York tourist destinations. Lincoln Center and Central Park are only a few blocks away, and other midtown locations like Times Square and Rockefeller Center are also walkable. For locations a little farther from the hotel, The Four Seasons provides a complimentary car service for pick-up and drop-off within a two-mile radius of the hotel from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. every day.
Author's Most Memorable Moment
I got a good deal at the Four Seasons because I stayed on a low floor. The hotel features more rooms on the lower floors and more suites on the upper floors. Unlike many hotels I have visited, I would rather have stayed in the hotel than explored the rest of the city.
Bottom Line
The Four Seasons is an expensive, yet stunning hotel located in New York City's most desirable location, midtown Manhattan.
