Family Things to Do in Orlando, Florida
Orlando, Florida, is a family destination, and not just because it's home to Disney World, Universal Studios and SeaWorld. There are many other lesser-known attractions that offer fun and adventure for families. Many people miss these attractions because they go to the big theme parks, but they're worth seeking out because they make a great break from the crowds and lines at Disney World and the other major parks.
Wonderworks
Wonderworks is a family attraction housed in an "upside down" building on International Drive. Visitors can experience an earthquake, ride a virtual roller coaster, land a space shutte and play laser tag, along with many other activities. All these activities except laser tag are included in the admission price.

Gatorland features alligators that can be hand-fed by guests. The gators are also featured in a "jumparoo" show and gator wrestling. There are other shows and animals, including a petting zoo with goats, sheep and other cuddly creatures. Families can also ride the miniature train around the park.
