Though steeped in history, Dallas also has modern amenities, and though known for it's vibrant nightlife, Dallas is quickly becoming one of America's premier cities for family fun. There are plenty of interesting and educational activities to check out.
Dallas Art Museum
The Dallas Art Museum offers a wide range of exhibits and activities geared toward families, such as Arturo's Art Stories, family films events and Sketching in the Galleries for kids.
Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament
For an unusual night out on the town with your family, have dinner at Medieval Times Dinner and Tournament. You will not only enjoy good food but will also see knights on horseback, sword fighting and jousting. You and your little ones can go ice skating year-round inside the Galleria Ice Skating Center. Younger guests will also enjoy the jungle-themed Galleria's Play Place.
Dallas Zoo
The Dallas Zoo is fun for all ages. While there, you can visit the "Wilds of Africa" exhibit, featuring animals from across Africa. You can also see "Zoo North," which has exhibits called "Snout Route," "Wings of Wonder" and "Bug U!"
