A life-sized statue of Marilyn Monroe in the lobby greets visitors to the St. Gregory. The hotel's 21M Lounge is also inspired by the late actress. The Churchill Hotel

This historic hotel is located on Washington's Embassy Row. Built in 1906, the Churchill has hosted diplomats, dignitaries and celebrities. During a renovation in 2007, the hotel's historic character was maintained, and the Churchill Hotel is still listed with the Historic Hotels of America. Rooms and suites offer down comforters and a variety of amenities. The hotel's own Chartwell Grill, named for the estate of Winston Churchill, serves steak and seafood.

Hotel Tabard Inn

This is one of the oldest hotels in Washington. The original Tabard Inn opened its doors in 1917 and has welcomed guests ever since. The two adjacent private homes became part of the Inn in 1920. Turn-of-the-century charm is felt throughout. The restaurant is a consistent favorite with Washington residents. Some rooms have private baths, and some have shared baths. There is no cable television service. A computer with Internet service is available for guests near the front desk; WiFi service is available.
