There are lots of things to do near the ocean in
Orlando, Florida, such as sightseeing, shopping or just sitting on the
beach. It's no surprise that so many people decide to vacation and retire in or near Orlando, Florida. The small beach communities surrounding Orlando have something to offer everyone, whether it be a family, a single person or a couple on a

Cocoa Beach
Cocoa Beach is a small beach community just east of Orlando. Cocoa Beach is in a very central location, close to resorts, shopping, restaurants, nightclubs, the Brevard Zoo, the Kennedy Space Center and even a skate park. There is something for everyone at Cocoa Beach. The beach itself is a white, sandy getaway ideal for sunbathing, swimming and snorkeling.

Kennedy Space Center
The Kennedy Space center is less than a mile away from the Canaveral National Seashore and only few miles away from the rest of the coastline.Tours are available daily. You can see firsthand where the space shuttle launches, learn about current NASA projects and see where astronauts get their training.
