Cruises to Bermuda From Baltimore

The 138 islands of Bermuda are located about 600 miles off the coast of North Carolina. Also called the Somers Isles, it is a British overseas territory in the North Atlantic Ocean. The islands are densely populated and affluent, with finance and tourism being the largest sectors. Its subtropical climate means temperatures range from 70 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit spring through fall. The main island of Bermuda has miles of pink sand beaches and turquoise waters that provide a plethora of water sports activities. Passengers on cruise ships from Baltimore, Maryland, to Bermuda can snorkel or lounge on the beach as well as play on the island's golf courses. Royal Caribbean Five-Day Trips

Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines runs a variety of trips from Baltimore to Bermuda, including a five-day trip on the ship "Enchantment of the Seas" (June through November). On this ship you can work up a sweat on the bungee trampolines, the climbing wall or at the various fitness facilities, or you can eat excellent food at the Windjammer Café or the Chops Grille. You can check out the Boleros Latin-theme lounge or gamble at the Casino Royale, or check out the shops at the open atrium. There are also facilities for teenagers and children. This five-day trip will take you to King's Wharf, Bermuda, where you can partake in plenty of water sports activities, visit museums and shops at the dockyard or hang out on nearby beaches during the day.

Royal Caribbean Seven-Day Trips

Royal Caribbean also offers a seven-day trip on its ship "Grandeur of the Seas," which leaves from Baltimore in October. "Grandeur" hosts nearly 2,500 people, and is well equipped with the most luxurious needs of its passengers, including a full-service spa, six whirlpools, a rock-climbing wall, pool, other sports facilities, a plethora of restaurants and themed bars and lounges, and facilities for youth. This ship spends three days docked at King's Wharf and three days cruising at sea.

Norwegian Cruise Lines Seven-Day Trips

Norwegian Cruise Lines offers a seven-day trip (May through August) to the small port of St. Georges, Bermuda, from Baltimore on the ship "Norwegian Majesty." The boat spends four days docked at St. Georges, which is one of the first towns settled on the islands and the fifth oldest Northern European municipality in the Western Hemisphere. It's also a UNESCO-designated World Heritage site. Not only does it have plenty of forts to explore, quaint store-lined cobblestone streets on which to walk and museums to check out, but it also has beaches and water sports activities galore.
While on the ship, passengers will find plenty to do. "Norwegian Majesty" boasts of a French café called Le Bistro, which offers an intimate dining space, as well as the Seven Seas Restaurant, which serves international cuisine, and the Piazza San Marco, which serves hamburgers and pizzas. There is a video arcade, library, conference rooms, Internet café, as well as gyms, pools and whirlpools, a jogging and walking track, and other fitness facilities.
