Cruise From Florida to Bermuda
Taking a cruise from Florida to Bermuda can be a relaxing and convenient way to take a vacation. Bermuda is a British territory and has an upper class, refined feel that is distinct from other islands. Bermuda lies off the coast of South Carolina in the North Atlantic Ocean. Prices tend to be higher than other island ports of call, but the beauty and water sports draw many vacationers every year.

The cruise season for cruises to Bermuda from Florida is limited to April.
Cruise Lines
The Regent Seven Seas cruise ship sails from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, one or two times every April and is the only cruise ship that cruises from Florida to Bermuda. Other cruise lines use northern ports in the United States for cruises to Bermuda.
Ports
The Regent Seven Seas cruise to Bermuda stops at the Bermudian ports of Hamilton and St. George. It also makes stops in Savannah, Georgia; Charleston, South Carolina; Port Canaveral, Florida and Nassau, Bahamas.
Excursions
Common excursions in Bermuda include shopping trips, home tours, glass-bottom boat tours, snorkeling, bike tours and Crystal Cave tours.
Documents
Passport books are recommended for cruises from Florida to Bermuda, but passport cards are acceptable. Passport cards can only be used for sea or land visits and are a lower cost alternative to the standard passport book. On a closed-loop cruise that starts in Florida and ends at the same port in Florida, government-issued identification is accepted, but not recommended for cruises and excursions in Bermuda.
Weather
Bermuda has a subtropical, but humid climate. In April, temperature range from 63 F to 71 F with an average rainfall of 3.5 inches for the month.
