A visit to "The City by The Bay" is bound to be an unforgettable vacation. There's such a diverse amount of activities and events available all year long. Whether you're visiting for the food and wine, the history, the architecture, the shopping, the arts or the natural beauty, San Fransisco will charm you.
Learn the Art of Wine Tasting
A wine bar has very small servings, made to encourage tasting and a special menu of cheeses, breads and chocolates to keep your palate happy. Learn from the experts how to get the most from every flavor and you might find yourself with an entirely new appreciation of California's award-winning wines. Try the Ferry Plaza Wine Bar, where the menu and staff use a five point system to teach you the wine-tasting lingo, so you can impress friends and family with your skills.

Take a Helicopter Tour over the Golden Gate Bridge
Anyone can visit the Golden Gate Bridge in San Fransisco. In fact, you can walk over it or even run. Parks on either end of the bridge are a nice place to picnic, but to get a literal overall view of the San Fransisco Bay, including the bridge, the wine-growing regions over the hill and the Pacific Coast, a helicopter tour is the coolest way to go. They have several tour packages, to suit your time and budget.
