Clearwater
beach is an island strip off the coast of Clearwater in the west central peninsula of Florida. The land along the shore has been set aside to preserve broad stretches of white sandy
beaches for recreation. Parasails, water bikes and jet skis are commonly seen in the Gulf of
Mexico after launching from Clearwater Beach. The strip is home to many hotels,

cruises in the bay are available to visitors and locals, including the pirate cruise which lets participants dress up and fire pistols (with blanks) to protect their booty. Days end on Clearwater Beach as the sun disappears into the gulf with a dramatic display of colors in the sky and water.
