Kirkland, Washington, is a quick 10-minute drive over Lake Washington, east of
Seattle. Seattle, and thus Kirkland, is always a top destination for travelers. The area provides easy access to the Cascade Range with Mount Rainier and Olympic National Park. But the area also has big-city appeal with plenty of attractions in the downtown area such as the Space Needle, The Experience Music Project and the monorail. Western Washington has become famous for its Asian and seafood cuisine, and Kirkland hosts several Chinese restaurants if you would like to test this reputation.
Chan's Place
Chan's Place actually offers three different locations throughout the greater Seattle area. They have locations in Issaquah, Woodinville and Kirkland. The restaurant has been voted Best Chinese Restaurant on the Eastside for four years in a row in a poll surveying restaurants east of Seattle by the Seattle Weekly.
Chan's Place offers all the Chinese classics with a menu encompassing beef, chicken, pork, chow mein, fried rice and noodles. The restaurant allows individual ordering from this menu or it has a family-dining option. The family-dining option has 10 different complete meal choices and a per-person charge. For instance, one option includes won ton soup, almond fried boneless chicken, sweet and sour pork, chicken chow mein with soft noodles, barbecued pork fried rice and a fortune cookie.
