A child enjoying her meal
If you are prowling Manhattan with a stroller, it may shock you that not every restaurant is accommodating. Some very high-end
New York City restaurants are off-limits because you want to eat quickly with kids, not linger over several courses. But even less expensive places in midtown may not have high chairs, room for a stroller, or a kid-friendly menu. Rest assured, there are enough family-friendly restaurants in midtown that no one will go hungry.
B-Bap Fusion Rice Bar
The Korean B-Bap Fusion Rice Bar is great for kids, who can choose rice (white, brown, black, green tea), noodles or salad, then a protein, a topping and a sauce. If your child is a plain vanilla type, he can go sauce-free, and if he is more experimental, he can add exotic flavorings. The food comes very fast, so little tummies are filled quickly.

Dos Caminos
Dos Caminos is a big, loud Mexican restaurant, perfect for kids because they can make a lot of noise and not bother anyone. Guacamole is made tableside, a hit with kids--plus, you can customize it based on how spicy your kids like their food. The reasonably priced kids menu plus many kid-friendly appetizers and sides makes this a perfect place for a large family gathering.
