Sherrill Park, one of Richardson's two public golf courses, is consistently ranked among the top 10 municipal courses in Texas, and there are more than 40 miles of trails and 23 miles of walkways in the city. Shuck N Jive is a casual restaurant offering a wide variety of Cajun and Cajun-inspired dishes for moderate prices. Appetizers include boudin sausage, fried pickles, Cajun crab claws and Cajun popcorn--crawfish fried in a light tempura batter. Raw oysters on the half shell are served as well as a selection of salads and burgers. Sandwiches include classic Cajun Po' boys made with catfish, shrimp, chicken, crawfish or oysters. Entrees include blackened shrimp pasta, chicken-fried steak and a variety of platters such as fried shrimp, oysters or catfish with red beans and rice, French fries and a hush puppy. Additional Cajun favorites such as shrimp etoufee, jambalaya and seafood gumbo are also available.

Boudreaux's Cajun Kitchen
Calling itself the "Home of Monster Shrimp," Boudreaux's Cajun Kitchen offers a large selection of Cajun-style favorites on its menu. Appetizers include fried pickles and boudin balls, along with buffalo shrimp, fried mozzarella and seafood fondue. Po' boy sandwiches are made your choice of fresh seafood such as shrimp, crawfish, catfish and even alligator. Other Cajun specialties include gumbo, jambalaya, red beans and rice, shrimp Creole and three different types of etoufee. Fresh fish specials, a variety of Cajun-inspired pasta dishes and a selection of tasty desserts including pecan pie and bread pudding round out the menu. Kids are offered their own menu, and ages 12 and under eat free all day Tuesday.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen
Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen prides itself on offering only the freshest ingredients in its Cajun-inspired menu. The menu includes hot and cold appetizers such as traditional shrimp cocktail, oysters on the half shell, pan-seared frog legs and crispy fried alligator. Numerous fresh salads are available as well as soups such as lobster bisque and "Louisiana" shrimp gumbo. Grill selections such as hazelnut crusted tilapia and seared sea bass, Cajun specialties such as shrimp Creole and crawfish etoufee and a wide variety of steak, chicken, lobster and crab dinners are included among the menu items. Pappadeaux's also offers a kid's menu, bar menu and a selection of wines by the glass.
