The Grand Canyon is an amazing natural landmark in the Southwest and well worth a visit. But unless you've got a helicopter at hand, the best way to see this wonder is by bus tour.
Geography
Bus tours carry you to the South or West rims of the Grand Canyon. The West rim tour typically includes access to the Grand Canyon Skywalk.
Time Frame
Tours typically last about 14 hours. Pickup is usually quite early, about 7:30 a.m.
Warning
Understand clearly what you should bring, such as hiking shoes if you have free time at the Grand Canyon, or a sack lunch and snacks.
Features
Many tours include a stop at Hoover Dam and Lake Mead as well as shopping stops to buy Native American crafts.
Considerations
Many tour companies can link your bus tour with a helicopter tour to view more of the Grand Canyon as well as a whitewater rafting trip.
