Although Denver has dozens of Italian, Mexican and Chinese restaurants, those who seek to dine at a Brazilian establishment in the city need to look a little more closely. Texas de Brazil is a trendy Brazilian restaurant in Denver that asks its guests adhere to a "smart casual" dress code. The restaurant is open for dinner Monday through Sunday and for lunch on Fridays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This two-story, warehouse-style restaurant features a salad bar with more than 50 items on it; however, few guests spend too much time with the salad. The real reason most people visit Texas de Brazil is for the variety of meats. Customers here can dine on beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage. Servers carry the meat on skewers around the restaurant, stopping at each table and slicing the meat for interested diners.

Cafe Brazil

Cafe Brazil is a locally owned Brazilian restaurant that is open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday. The restaurant has a distinct Brazilian aura about it, featuring aqua blue and red checkered floors and authentic Brazilian paintings and wall art. This Zagat-rated restaurant features a number of Brazilian dishes that include various kinds of meats as well as seafood. Some of the restaurant's specialties include Lula Frita, which features fried calamari and frango de tiago, which is two chicken breasts served with a savory coconut and curry sauce.

Rodizio Grill

The Rodizio Grill features servers who carry skewers of meat from table to table, serving all those who are interested. At each table there is a red, yellow and green cue. When you want to be served what a server is carrying around, you turn your cue so the green side is at the top. When you are full or when you want to pass on a certain kind of meat, you turn your cue so the red side is at the top. The servers will bring around different types of beef, poultry and pork. You also may order seafood. Rodizio Grill also offers flan, cinnamon pastries and chocolate cake for dessert.
