The Best Value Disney Resort

The rooms at Disney's Pop Century are all 260 square feet and feature either two double beds or a single king-size bed. Like other Value resort rooms, these are some of the smallest on property and they feel it.

The rooms all have TVs, a table and chairs, a small vanity outside the small bathroom, and Internet access via ethernet cables for an additional fee (WiFi is not available).

The resort is themed after 20th century pop culture icons, and giant statues representing the various decades can be found throughout the resort.

There is little in the way of recreation here beyond the three main pools and a small playground. Everything Pop features a large gift shop, a lounge and a food court with some reasonable meals, including a nightly special patterned after old-fashioned TV dinners.

Guests at Pop Century have some of the cheapest rooms on property, but still get access to most of the same amenities as everyone else. These include free transportation to and from the airport via Disney's Magical Express, transportation to and from the theme parks (or free parking if you'd rather drive) and access to Extra Magic Hours in the parks.

Some of the rooms at Pop Century are sold at a higher rate and called "preferred" rooms, because they are somewhat closer to the main building, food court and bus stops. However, despite its large size this resort has been designed so that most rooms are just a short walk away--roughly 5 minutes for most people.

In addition, the preferred rooms are further from the parking lot. Bear that in mind if you plan to arrive by car and need to haul your luggage to and from your rooms.
