resorts in New Mexico are located in different parts of the state. The ski season in New Mexico begins in November and ends in April, depending on when the last snow falls. Most of these ski resorts stay open all year for summer sports as well.
Angel Fire
Angel Fire has a lodge with an indoor pool and hot tub. On the mountain, there are seven chair lifts, two high-speed quads, three doubles, two Sunkid Wondercarpets, 74 Trails, two parks and three cross-country trails. There is snow-making equipment for 52 percent of the mountain and the average yearly snowfall is 210 inches.

Pajarito Mountain
Pajarito Mountain is one of the smaller of the ski resorts in New Mexico with five lifts--one quad, one triple, three double, one rope tow, 40 named trails and 300 skiable acres.

Taos Ski Valley, Inc
Taos Ski Valley, Inc is one of the largest of the Ski Resorts in New Mexico with 110 trails, 13 lifts (four quads, one triple, five double and three surface lifts). The average snowfall is about 305 inches a year. Taos has the capacity to bring 15,000 skiers up the mountain each hour and also have a terrain park with two huge airs, a hip, a quarter pipe and rails.

Red River Ski Area
Red River Ski Area, Inc is another one of the smaller resorts with seven lifts--four doubles, two triples and one surface tow. They have the capacity to get 7,920 skiers up the mountain each hour and have snow making equipment on 87 percent of the mountain. They also conduct evening snowmobile tours. Red River provides all you need and you get to enjoy a meal of green chile stew and sandwiches

Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort
Sipapu Ski and Summer Resort is a midsize ski resort in New Mexico with 41 trails, two terrain parks and a total of four lifts (two triples and two platters). The terrain parks have both beginner and advances line, straight and rainbow rail, A frame boxes and bread boxes. It also has a 10-foot-long teeter totter
