The Best Night Clubs in Manhattan, York

In the city that never sleeps, there are nightclubs to suit every taste. Whether you're looking for live entertainment, top 40 hits or just a New York vibe, Manhattan boasts a variety of clubs you'll enjoy. Some of the clubs will have a double-digit cover charge or highly selective door policy. However, the slight inconvenience is worth it to have an exciting late night adventure.
Home

With house music blaring from the club's speakers, Home is the ideal hot spot for those looking to dance the night away in a lounge-like, lush setting. Nestled in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood, Home is the brainchild of Jon Bakhshi, who owns several other spots around the city. With its red-tinged decor and comfy ambiance, Home has attracted a range of visitors, from A-list celebrities like Eva Longoria to prominent business people and athletes. Open six nights a week, the club estimates that its weekly attendance hovers around the 11,000 mark.

Marquee

One of the city's most exclusive clubs, Marquee thrives on the selectivity of its crowd and its sophisticated, sexy ambiance. Though capacity is typically capped at about 600 people, the spacious and impressive club has become a favorite of those looking to rub elbows with famous patrons. Top-shelf liquor reigns supreme as the night wears on and people begin to loose their inhibitions in favor of dancing and mingling with the club's fashionable guests.

LQ

For a little Latin flavor in your late-night escapades, there is LQ on Lexington Avenue. Opened in 2003, LQ features some of the city's best Latin-flavored clubbing in a setting that caters to people looking to dance, lounge and mingle. Spanning over 15,000 square feet, the club has something for everyone--multiple rooms that have their own tone and feel, from an intimate lounge setting to a pulsating dance floor. At peak hours, LQ is packed to the brim with some of Midtown's finest party-goers.

40/40

Jay-Z's 40/40 Club remains a must-go destination for people looking for late night fun in the city. The 8,000-square-foot club boasts multiple levels, VIP rooms and a spacious dance floor. The club is a mix of late night hot spot and sports bar, with sports memorabilia and plasma television screens. Aside from being the club of choice for throngs of New Yorkers, the space has been used for celebrity birthday parties as well as celebrations for prominent New York athletes.
