The best Napa hotels blend in with the countryside, farms and wineries.
The best Napa hotels blend in with the countryside, farms and wineries. They each have something different to offer to those who come to the Napa Valley for the wineries, those who just want to get away from the city, and those who want a relaxed setting for a business meeting or conference. The hotels are not geographically far from the city, but they are far away from the daily grind.
The Carneros Inn
The Carneros Inn is a 27-acre hotel just an hour away from San Francisco. The resort is modern, and yet it still keeps to the farmland style of the area. The accommodations are 86 private cottages with landscaped courtyards, wood-burning fireplaces, indoor and outdoor showers and flat-panel TV's. The hotel also has a private 2,400 square foot villa available. There are three on-site restaurants, an adults-only pool and hot tub, a family-style pool area with a lap pool, a hot tub and a children's pool, and a spa that was voted "One of the Top 55 Spas in North America, in the Caribbean and at Sea" by Conde Nast Traveler's 2007 Readers Poll.
