10 Best Las Vegas Swimming Pools
With sizzling heat and more hotels than most any other city in the
United States, you can bet that swimming pools are a big deal when it comes to the construction and appeal of a hotel. Whether it's directly on the Vegas strip or just a short ride away,
Las Vegas boasts some of the best pools available not just in the United States, but in the world.
Hard Rock Hotel
The Hard Rock Hotel earns its place on the top ten for its originality and unique appeal to the younger crowd. This pool features a sandy bottom, floating craps table and rock music that is continuously pumped into the pool through underwater speakers.
Flamingo Las Vegas
With it's ten feet high pink flamingo fountain, poolside bar and blackjack table, the Flamingo easily makes the top ten list. This 80 foot long pool also boasts a 150 foot water slide.
Mandalay Bay
Not only does the Mandalay Bay have one of the best pools in Las Vegas, it also has an entire water park. This property has a series of different pools ranging from relaxing to wave pools that can create waves as high as 12 feet. They also ship the sand for their sand bottom pool directly from California, giving you that California beach feeling in the middle of a land locked state.
Golden Nugget
The factor that makes this property contain one of the best 10 pools in Las Vegas is its shark aquarium. Although the sharks are not in the pool, the hotel has cleverly built a clear glass tube water slide to the pool that makes its way through the shark infested waters into the safety of their sharkless pool.
Bellagio
Surrounded by citrus trees and an elegant sculptured landscape, this hotel makes the top ten cut by offering the most relaxing pool experience. You can spend time in your own private poolside cabana, or get a massage on the deck of any five of the properties luxurious pools.
MGM Grand
The MGM Grand boasts one of the largest pools in Las Vegas alongside four other equally large swimming pool options. The property also features a 1000 foot long lazy river when you just feel like floating and relaxing for awhile.
Mirage
The Mirage's tropical atmosphere full of greenery, palm trees and waterfalls make you feel like you are in another tropical country instead of a desert. Their two pools connect by a lagoon. They offer comfortable living room-like cabanas and top of the line pool side service also contribute to making this pool one of the top ten in Vegas. The dolphin habitat right near the pool also helps them claim this title.
Ceaser's Palace
The Ceaser's Palace pool area, aptly named the "Garden of the Gods," makes the top ten list for its luxurious Roman bath-inspired pools set throughout the four and a half acre pool yard. You also have the option to sunbathe topless at the property's "Venus pool."
Paris, Las Vegas
This rooftop pool sits in the shadow of the Eiffel tower...or at least a quality replica of the Eiffel tower. This pool's surroundings are quite detailed as well with geometrically spectacular pool deck designs and modern French manicured surroundings.
Palms Las Vegas
With three swimming pools over two acres of land, this hotel's pool is the place to see and be seen. Whether you want to rent the property's two story poolside condo, or catch one of their poolside rock concerts, the Palms Las Vegas makes the top ten list for being a hot spot for the trendy.
