Siesta Key is a small island off of Central Western Florida. It is located between the Gulf of
Mexico and Sarasota Bay. Siesta Key is a popular tourist destination in the state due its picturesque
beaches, and powdery, soft, white sands. One of the island's most well known tourist attractions is the geological landmark,Point of Rocks, which is made entirely of limestone. There are many fine hotels in Siesta Key.
