L'Auberge de Sedona is an independent luxury hotel that underwent a renovation and expansion project in 2009. The resort is located on 11 acres of land, with a complete on-site spa. Guests can also eat at L'Auberge Restaurant on Oak Creek, which was named one of the top 10 restaurants in the Southwest by "Conde Nast Traveler." Accommodations include luxury bedding and furniture, as well as a private patio or balcony. There is also a nightly wine and cheese reception, weekly stargazing and complete concierge services. As of July 2009, room rates began at about $195 per night.

Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa is another independent luxury hotel that has been given four diamonds by AAA. Rooms include features such as satin-stitched bedding and linens, super plush-top pillow mattresses, Turkish towels, bathrobes, free high-speed Internet access and evening turndown service. Sedona Rouge Hotel & Spa has a number of amenities for its guests, including daily yoga classes, a deck to view red rocks and stars, a swimming pool, a Jacuzzi and an outdoor fireplace. There is also on-site dining. Pet-friendly rooms are available. As of July 2009, room rates started at about $220 per night.

Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa is a franchise of the international luxury hotel chain, but retains a unique Arizona flavor in its décor. There are a total of 219 rooms and suites at the hotel. Most rooms have a view of red rocks or the on-site golf course. Each room is also decorated in Southwestern style, and offers features such as a fireplace, microwave, wet bar, and a patio or balcony. Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa amenities include room service, full spa services, three swimming pools, a fine dining restaurant and concierge services. As of July 2009, room rates started at about $170 per night, and suite nightly rates started at about $220.
