The Best Hotels on Mackinaw Island
There are several great hotels on Michigan's Mackinaw Island, each with its own distinct character. A few, however, stand out due to their excellent service, authentic decor and included amenities.
Grand Hotel
Often named one of the 100 best hotels in the United States, the Grand Hotel is more than a century old, has a 660-foot front porch and offers elegant accommodations and fine dining. The Grand Hotel is the most expensive option on Mackinaw but well worth the price.

The Island House
Known as the most family-friendly hotel on the island, The Island House has views of the Straits of Mackinaw and is located just two blocks from the downtown. It is one of the least expensive options on the island.

Mission Point Resort
A true resort experience can be had at Mission Point Resort, which sports tennis courts, bocce ball, croquet, excellent views of the Straits of Mackinaw, waterside dining and a kids play area. The hotel even allows pets. The resort also features a health club and spa.
