The Sanctuary has panoramic views of Scottsdale.
Scottsdale, Arizona abounds with luxury
resorts and hotels. The five-star Sanctuary on Camelback Mountain is one of the crown jewels of the area. The Sanctuary has panoramic views of Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, while being secluded enough to feel like a world of its own. The
resort has been decorated using modern design with Asian influences, and flows beautifully with the naturally landscaped grounds. There is a fireplace in the lobby. The doorman and bellhop will assist guests as they arrive and depart. The 24-hour front desk offers express check-in and has safety-deposit boxes. Their concierge service helps to ensure guests have the perfect vacation. Other specialty services offered by the resort include shoe shining, dry cleaning, beauty services, wedding planning assistance, event catering, and a limo or town-car service. Meeting rooms, a ballroom and a banquet center are available for rental.
Suites
The guest suites at the Sanctuary occupy dozens of one-story buildings all along Camelback Mountain. The exposed beams and custom cabinetry accentuate the minimalist decor. The bathrooms are done in travertine marble. Guests are treated with a nightly turn-down service. 300-thread count Mascioni Italian linens and duvets make the bed a luxury to sleep in. In-room massage and child care services are available. They have high speed Internet access, a desk and an in-room safe. The cable TV has a VCR, and CD and DVD players. For guests who get hungry, there is a mini-bar, a refrigerator, a microwave and a coffeemaker in the room.
Dining
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the resort's restaurant. The stone and wood accents compliment the minimalist decor. They serve American cuisine, using local ingredients and Asian flourishes. Across from the restaurant, the hotel's bar offers indoor and outdoor dining. The patio has an open fire in a secluded setting with a view of Paradise Valley. The bar's signature drink is the Purple Haze, a mixture of sake and Chambord. Room service is available.
Recreation
The Sanctuary offers an abundance of recreational options for their guests. Their large outdoor swimming pool has an infinity edge. Two splash pools and a 25-yard lap pool are also available. The full-service spa has both indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, a meditation garden with reflecting pool and a movement studio. Classes offered at the resort include yoga, belly dancing, aerobics, Pilates and belly dancing. Their fitness center has cardio equipment with built-in TVs and headsets. Private health and nutrition counseling, as well as a private trainer is available. Guided hikes and bike trails, with bike rental, are offered.
