The Best French Restaurants in NYC
French restaurants can be romantic, fun and innovative, especially in New York City. If you're visiting New York City and have only one night to experience French cuisine, make sure you make a reservation at one of the best French restaurants the city has to offer.
Bouley

Bouley was created by chef David Bouley. The Tribeca restaurant received a three-star review by The New York Times. You would expect to pay an arm and a leg for such high-quality food, but the moderately priced six-course tasting menus for lunch allow those who may not normally be able to afford eating at such a fine restaurant to get a taste of the goods. As of 2009, the six-course tasting menu at lunch costs $48. Other delicious dishes include porcini flan, wild Alaskan king salmon, phyllo-crusted shrimp, and Maine day boat lobster with early rhubarb, English peas, chervil sauce and parsnip cloud. As of 2009, dinner prices range from $36 to $43 per entree on the a la carte menu.
