Hidden Valley Four Seasons Ski Resort near Somerset, Pennsylvania, is a great ski destination for beginning skiers all the way up to experts. The 25 slopes and trails at Hidden Valley offer a variety of skiing choices with gorgeous views. Activities include skiing, sledding, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Visitors can stay at the Hidden Valley Lodge at the Hidden Valley Four Seasons Ski Resort, or opt for a less expensive hotel right nearby.

Whitetail Mountain Resort - Mercersburg, PA
Located in Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, Whitetail Mountain Resort offers 19 trails and a variety of activities to visitors. The activities at this new resort include skiing, snowboarding, snow tubing and an excellent ski school. Ski areas are separated by experience level, so experts don't trip over novices, and novices don't get trampled by experts. This resort has no double diamond trails, and the majority of the trails are a medium (blue square) difficulty. There is plenty of dining in the area. While Whitetail Mountain doesn't offer any accommodations on the ski resort property, there is a vast array of hotels in the area to choose from.

Seven Springs Mountain Resort - Champion, PA
Seven Springs Mountain Resort in Champion, Pennsylvania, has the distinction of being Pennsylvania's largest ski resort. Located about an hour away from Pittsburgh, Seven Springs is situated on 275 acres of property and offers something for every member of the family. There are 31 ski trails, ranging from bunny slopes to double black diamond expert runs. There is also an amazing ski center, ski school, spa, base lodge, bowling alley, restaurants and much more.
