Disney World hotels give top priority to pleasing young guests.
Walt Disney World in
Orlando seems like a world entirely devoted to kids, and some of its
resort hotels will go over the top to make your family's vacation the best ever. Whether your children are crazy about animals, swim like fish or are hooked on everything about the American West, Walt Disney World has a hotel that's sure to please your kids.
Animal Kingdom Lodge
Designed like a lodge on the African savanna, the Animal Kingdom Lodge offers animal-themed activities day and night. On the resort's 33-acre wildlife preserve, you can feed flamingos, play wildlife games, make African crafts, tell stories around a campfire, use night-vision goggles to view the animals and more. You might just wake up and spot an ostrich or giraffe outside your room in the morning.

Polynesian Resort
A replica of a South Pacific paradise, the Polynesian resort is all about the islands. For your kids, it's all about the water. The resort features a wet play area with water slides, white sand beaches, swimming, water sports, an arcade and children's craft activities. A musical Electrical Water Pageant is held at the lagoon every night. Don't miss the Spirit of Aloha dinner show, complete with music, dancing and a luau-like feast.

Wilderness Lodge
Wilderness Lodge is designed like a lodge in Yellowstone National Park. From teepee chandeliers in the lobby to a giant Lincoln Log table for the kids, everything has a Western theme. Some of the rooms have bunk beds, and all rooms are decorated with nature and Native American designs. Every hour, the Fire Rock Geyser, like Yellowstone's Old Faithful, erupts with a plume of water jetting 120 feet high.
