How to Make Reservations at The Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada
The Bellagio is one of the most sought-after properties on the
Las Vegas Strip. Its classy decor, marvelous fountain show, upscale rooms and central location contribute to the property's popularity and high room rates. To combat these elements, make your reservation as early in advance as possible. You should also visit numerous hotel booking websites to ensure you're nabbing the best rate.
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Step 1
Determine what type of room you want to reserve at the Bellagio. Standard guest rooms are about 510 square feet. Small suites are about 850 square feet, and large suites are more than 2,500 square feet. The Bellagio also contains two- and three-bedroom villas, though they can only be reserved if an invitation is extended by the hotel.
Step 2
Visit Bellagio.com to view the hotel's current promotions. Register with the hotel to receive special discounts, which require you to enter your full name, address, phone number and e-mail address into a web form. You also can sign the hotel's "Guestbook" to receive offers and the latest Bellagio news. You also can sign up for the MGM-Mirage Players Club, which tracks your gaming and allows you to earn discounted and complimentary rooms.
Step 3
Check rates by entering desired travel dates and number of guests into the MGM-Grand's online reservations system. The Bellagio is owned by the MGM-Grand, which is why the reservations system routes you away from the Bellagio website. You also can check rates by calling the reservations hot line at (888) 987-6667. If your travel dates are flexible, you can receive the best offer by checking the Bellagio's Rate Calendar, which displays posted hotel room rates in two-month intervals.
Step 4
Compare the rates the hotel is offering with rates of popular third-party travel booking companies, such as Expedia.com, HotWire.com, Travelocity.com, Hotels.com and Orbitz.com. These sites often beat the rates posted by the hotel. If you regularly book hotel rooms on any of these sites, you may be able to use special discounts that can lower the Bellagio's rates even more.
Step 5
Make your Bellagio reservations through either a third-party travel reservations company or the hotel. If you're booking directly through the hotel, you can use the MGM's reservations system or call the reservations hot line at (888) 987-6667. Be sure to have a valid credit card handy, and don't forget to mention any special needs or requests, such as a non-smoking or handicapped room, before finalizing your reservation.
Step 6
Confirm your reservation is accurate before authorizing the hotel holding fee, which is usually the equivalent of one night's stay, on your credit card. Write down your confirmation number, call a week ahead to confirm that your reservation is in place and bring your reservation number, along with the credit card containing the holding fee, with you when you check into the Bellagio.
