1932 & 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum and Hall of Fame
Enjoy learning about the 1932 and 1980 Winter Olympics at The 1932 & 1980 Lake Placid Winter Olympic Museum You can view video footage of the actual events as well as see uniforms and some of the equipment used by the competitors. The museum is open year round from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission costs are $5 for adults and $3 for children and senior citizens.

Amherst Museum
Learn what it was like to live on the Niagara Frontier during the 19th century. You can visit original style school houses and homes as well as view exhibits such as a pioneer kitchen, main street as it might have been during the 1880s and an old-fashioned country store. The museum is open year round Tuesday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. during the summer months. From mid-April to October admission is $5 for adults and $1.50 per child; October to mid-April the entry fee is $4 per adult and $1 for each child.

FASNY Museum of Firefighting
View real fire equipment, gear and memorabilia as well as a variety of trucks, pumps and engines. Learn about the history of firefighting and experience the many exhibits such as Then, Now and Always: Firefighting From the Cradle of Rome Through the 1900s. Admission costs are $5 for adults, $2 for children 12 and older. admission is free for children under 12. There is also a family rate of $10 for two adults and any number of children. The museums hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
