About Attractions in Ohio

Visitors to Ohio will find a variety of museums and parks. If you're interested in history, science, art, botany or music, you'll find plenty of appealing attractions throughout the state.
Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland has seven floors, 18 regular exhibits, rotating exhibits and audio and film features. Musicians regularly visit the museum to perform.

Cedar Point

Cedar Point, an amusement park along Lake Eerie in Sandusky, is famous for its 17 roller coasters and other rides. Its tallest and fastest roller coaster has a 420-foot drop and accelerates to 120 mph.

USS Cod Submarine Memorial

The USS Cod is a World War II submarine and a National Historic Landmark in Cleveland. Visitors can tour the submarine May through September.

NASA Glenn Visitor Center

Admission to the NASA Glenn Visitor Center in Cleveland is free and features a flight simulator where visitors can try flying different kinds of aircraft.

Dayton Aviation Heritage

The Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historic Park consists of four different units in the Dayton area. The park honors the Wright brothers, the American pioneers of flight.

Franklin Park Conservatory

The Franklin Park Conservatory in Columbus includes botanical gardens, 400 varieties of plants, flower arrangements and a collection of Dale Chihuly glass artwork.

Toledo Museum of Art

For a small town, Toledo impresses visitors with the quality of its art museum, which has more than 30,000 works. Visitors will find pieces by Van Gogh, Rembrandt, Picasso and Monet, to name a few.
