Orlando Airport West is a pet-friendly hotel that is located in close proximity to Orlando International Airport. This hotel is located near the Beeline Highway, which allows access to area theme parks and International Drive. Guests choose between one king or two double beds accommodations. Rooms are clean, and beds are comfortable. Free Wi-Fi Internet access and free local calls are provided.
Wows and Woes
Some of the rooms at this property have microwaves and mini refrigerators, which is always a good thing. Save a little money and take advantage of the La Quinta's free breakfast buffet. The hotel provides complimentary hourly shuttles to the airport, so there is no need to stress about early-morning flights.
This hotel is located a substantial distance from most of the tourist hot spots in the city. Unlike other Orlando hotels, this place does not offer shuttle service to the theme parks. Be prepared to hear airplanes flying overhead, because this hotel is so close to the airport.

Author's Most Memorable Moment
I was so disappointed when I checked into this hotel. I made reservations for a nonsmoking room, and when I arrived at the hotel there were only smoking rooms available. Upon entering my room, I was greeted by a strong odor that appeared to be a mixture of smoke and cat urine.
Bottom Line
I have stayed at better La Quinta Hotels.This particular property did not live up to the La Quinta standards. Stay at another hotel.
