Adventure Island is a water park in Tampa, Florida which provides a wide range of family activities to enjoy.
The Park
The 30-acre park features family-friendly corkscrew slides, waterfalls, a gigantic wave pool and a rambling river.
Rides
Ride the Aruba, Calypso Coaster, Caribbean Corkscrew, Everglides, Gulf Scream, Key West Rapids, Riptide: Florida's Original Four-Lane Mat Slide, Runaway Rapids, Wahoo Run or the Water Moccasin.
Other Attractions
Endless Surf features a 17,000 square foot wave pool with rolling surf and waves of up to five feet high. Paradise Lagoon features a 20 foot platform amid more pools and slides.
Dining Options
Pizza, burgers, chicken strips and many more foods are available at the park at restaurants such as Surfside Café, Mango Joe's, Surfside Ice Cream, Gulf Scream Ice Cream and Bayou beach Club.
Children's Attractions
Fabian's Funport Children's Area is a water play area which provides water toy elements designed for children under 50 inches in height. This area is also suitable for adults with physical disabilities.
Price
A one-day pass to the park is around $40 with special offers for Florida and Georgia residents or for visitors who purchase a combination ticket to Busch Gardens. Annual passes and private cabana rentals are also available.
