Pismo Beach Classic Car Show
The Pismo Beach Classic Car Show has been one of California's most popular car shows since opening in 1985. The event's organizers award Best of Show, Platinum and Gold awards to classic car owners with vehicle models going back to the 1930s still in great condition. The Hot Rod Bar & Grill is a covered exhibit space where food and drinks are served to thousands of attendees. The show's live auction raises thousands of dollars for veterans each year.

Talley Vineyards
Talley Vineyards offers tastings and tours of its grounds for a reasonable price. Talley produces Chardonnay and pinot noir vintages for the Bishop's Peak and Mano Tinta labels available worldwide. The Great American Melodrama & Vaudeville
The Great American Melodrama & Vaudeville opened in 1975 to provide residents of Pismo Beach and surrounding communities with entertaining theatrical productions. The theater runs Broadway shows, holiday events and classic theatrical productions from Wednesday through Sunday. Every show at the Great American Melodrama & Vaudeville is preceded by a vaudeville revue that keeps visitors entertained. Visitors enjoy wine, snacks and meals from the Great American's dinner menu as they sit at tables and booths.

The Dunes Center
Visitors to The Dunes Center in nearby Guadalupe first enter the center's 1910 bungalow to view exhibits about local plants and animals. The Dunes Center offers free guided walks from Thursday through Sunday along the Guadalupe-Nimpomo Dunes. These walks allow visitors to learn about the region's ecosystem from an experienced docent familiar with native species and restoration efforts. The Dunes Center hosts lectures, book clubs and kids' events free to the public to keep the dunes accessible to families.
