Fun Things to Do in Las Vegas When You Are Bored
There's more to
Las Vegas than casinos, wedding chapels and showgirls. Whether you're in the city for a vacation or for business, chances are you will either get bored of the traditional, flashy entertainment or run out of money and start looking for something else to do that doesn't imply emptying your bank account. In any case, there's much to do in Las Vegas when you're bored or looking for something new and exciting.
Tour the Casinos
You don't need to actually step in and spend any money trying your luck. Instead, walk from tower to tower, taking advantage of the many free exhibits, live acts and entertainment the casinos have to offer. Bellagio, for example, is home to the famous musical fountains as well as an art gallery. Treasure Island offers a 90-minute show aboard its pirate ship every night, while The Mirage offers a volcano eruption. There are also animal exhibits, giant fish tanks and antique collections at the entrance of most casinos.

Leave Earth With a Space "Flight"
Those who dream of space can skip a trip to Cape Canaveral, Florida, and instead make it to Las Vegas, where Zero G offers the experience of feeling weightless for 90 minutes. The "trip," which costs $4,900, starts with a short training, after which visitors board a modified Boeing 727 to experience different gravities, from that of the moon and Mars to complete lack of gravity, or gravity zero, which lasts only 62 seconds but is repeated 15 times during the flight. Pregnant women and children younger 15 are not allowed, and the flights happen only once a month and in groups.

Visit the Imperial Palace's Car Exhibit
While most people stop by only to look, you are technically allowed to take any of the cars home (if your pockets are deep enough, that is). The massive exhibit at Imperial Palace extends more than 125,000 square feet. Of the 200 to 300 cars there (the number varies because of rotating exhibits), some of the most notorious include Alfa Romeo Bats (designed between 1953 and 1955), a 1939 Alfa Romeo Berlinetta, the Mini Cooper driven in the movie "The Italian Job" and a 1937 Bentley Sedanca Coupe. There are also race cars, muscle cars and custom-made vehicles.

Have Dinner in the Sky
Have dinner in style--and in the air. For a dining experience meant to excite more than just your palate, eat while sitting on a platform raised 180 feet in the air. The table, which seats 12, is served by waiters (who are also sitting at the table, strapped in place by three security belts) and rotates to offer incredibly views of the Las Vegas skyline. Dinner costs $249, and you have a choice of either filet mignon or chicken. Sparkling wine and a souvenir photo are included.
